Ep16: Micah Sawyer & Micah’s Hugs

Today we’re talking about something that touches so many families here in the North Bay and across the country, the fentanyl crisis. My guest is Micah Sawyer, co-founder of Micah’s Hugs, a nonprofit created in memory of his son, Micah, who passed away from fentanyl poisoning in 2019. Their mission is to raise awareness, break the stigma around addiction, and support families in need. They have a powerful event coming up in San Francisco that you’ll want to hear about.
