Stella is very curious and loves going for walks and exploring her surroundings. She’s a young girl, so she’s still learning some manners. She’s also learning just how big she is as she sometimes gets confused and thinks she just a little lap dog. Stella is very affectionate and intelligent. Each Wednesday with Mornings With Amber, Compassion Without Borders shares a rescue dog from their shelter “Muttopia” that is featured on-air as our Mutt of the Week. Compassion Without Borders is a non-profit organization based in Santa Rosa. Their programs include dog rescue operations in Mexico and the Central Valley of California, along with free veterinary wellness and spay/neuter clinics in underserved communities on both sides of the border. Their mission is to find the animals that are in the most urgent need of help, yet the least likely to be helped due to geographic, cultural and socioeconomic barriers. They do amazing work!
